Currently , SHE IS LEADING A RENOWNED NGO known as INDIAN INSTITUTE OF YOUTH WELFARE – NAGPUR as DIRECTOR since last 11 years. She has a great inclination towards helping the society with her education and she always thinks of paying back to the society. She along with her team has developed an eco friendly campus at Lonara Nagpur. She is passionate about gardening, clean energy and waste recycling.

She is handling various social development projects such as Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Kshamta Kendra for capacity building of HIV AIDS staff in Maharashtra, skilling India, rural and tribal development, water and sanitation and youth development along with health and nutrition programmes at various levels. She specialize in imparting Leadership training, communication skills and management skills to youths.

  • Honorary doctorate from Bharat Virtual University and South American peace University, California.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture with a GOLD MEDALS from Visvesvaraya Regional College of Engineering (V.R.C.E.-now VNIT, Nagpur).
  • Post Graduate Dip. in Urban and Regional Planning at School of Planning, C.E.P.T., Ahmedabad, with 4 prestigious Gold medals.
  • Associated with Indian Institute of Architects and Life member of Indian Institute Town Planners.
  • Secured 8th position in order of merit at S.S.C. Examination conducted by Maharashtra Board of Secondary Education in 1990.
  • Shivdanmal Mokha award for extraordinary academic performance.
  • Secured 11th position in GATE (1998) all over India.
  • 4 Gold Medals from CEPT includes Indian Institute of Town Planners Gold Medal, Vastu Shilpa Foundation Medal, Eklavya Foundation Scholarship.
  • Number of articles on Town planning has been published in local newspapers in Marathi and English Language.
  • Represented number of national level workshops held for Towns development and on Environmental issues.
  • She has been consultant to Government of Maharashtra and has supported the preparation of CITY SANITATION PLANS for 7 cities in Vidarbha.
  • Got Maharshi Karve stree Shikshan award for service to mankind by Gramayaa Pratishthan.

She is a good classical dancer , has learnt Bharatnatyam and Kuchipudi classical dance forms for 16 years and have performed at many cities and bagged several prestigious awards/prizes. Performed Arangetram at the tender age of 11 years. She is good at calligraphy and painting and other forms of art such as thermocol craft and oil painting and warli art.
