At IIYW, our Handicraft Projects empower local artisans especially women and youth by providing training, resources, and platforms to showcase their skills.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, IIYW extended timely support to vulnerable communities through food distribution, hygiene kits, awareness drives, and vaccination support. Our efforts focused on reaching daily wage earners, women, and children.
The training focused on building awareness about natural and man-made disasters, understanding emergency protocols, and developing practical skills for effective response and recovery.
Combatting non-communicable diseases (NCDs) such as diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, and cancer has become a global health priority. These diseases, often linked to lifestyle factors like poor diet, lack of physical activity, tobacco use, and alcohol consumption, are leading causes of death and disability.
The purpose of Kshamta Kendra is to provide adequate and appropriate capacity-building support to Targeted
Interventions projects in their respective states/region. Kshamta Kendra will work on the objective to improve the
knowledge and skill of Targeted Intervention (TI) service providers in an innovative and sustainable manner across the
country over 2021-24.
