We can make a difference in families lives by Biogas plant
At the time at which the project was written, IIYW intended to install two biogas plants manufactured by the company Kirloskar. However, IIYW later learned that Kirloskar had completely stopped the production of biogas units. These plants were operated using cow dung, kitchen waste or other biodegradable waste, which suited IIYW’s plan. This option is however no longer available to our Indian Partner since the production of these biogas plants has been stopped. IIYW has therefore come up with alternatives.
Only 1 Bio gas plant will be constructed and the money for 2nd bio gas unit will be utilised towards the installation of sewer lines. The remaining funds of € 645 is reallocated to point 4.1.1.1 of the financial budget, as the cost of draining in individual households are sometimes higher than planned, because some households are so designed that more effort is required to discharge the rainwater .
